Emika announces second single

Ninja Tune’s latest signing Emika has announced that she will release her second single for the label in May. The follow-up to the sublime ‘Drop The Other’, ‘Double Edge’ features more of that dark R&B sound that has had us clutching at Ninja Tune’s collar for the last few months screaming for more.
‘Double Edge’ apparently began as field recordings in Teufelsberg in Berlin on a cold winter’s day. Explains Emika: “I focused on capturing sound, phenomena that exist independently of people and personality. But once back in the studio they become the language I use to tell stories”.
The single will be released on 10 May, backed with a remix from Bristol label Techtonic’s Pinch.
