Fabric’s Sunday night hosts WetYourSelf have announced that they will move back to former home Club Aquarium while Fabric’s licensing appeal goes through the motions. The night, which has been held at Fabric since 2009, first launched at Aquarium in 2007.

“For us Fabric was our home and our dream – one we fought very hard to get to, and one we fought very hard to keep”, says WetYourSelf’s Jacob Husley. “Hosting the Sunday night at Fabric has been a huge privilege and we have always tried to pass on that gift by making the night a platform for emerging artists in the underground house and techno scene in London and abroad”.

He continues: “Knowing we’ve lost this platform, it is incredibly hard to find the motivation to continue, but it is now more important than ever. We need to show that we cannot be beaten, and that the party will continue. It won’t be the same as Fabric, but it will still be a platform for our community to keep the movement going by showcasing our music every week”.

The first WYS party back at Aquarium will take place on 2 Oct, with all profits going to Fabric’s fund to cover the legal costs of its appeal – which has currently raised over £210,000.
