THE BIG CHILL, Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire, 5-8 Aug: Newton Faulkner, Explosions In The Sky and Morcheeba have all been added to the Big Chill line-up, joining the likes of MIA, Massive Attack and Roots Manuva. www.bigchill.net

SOUTHERN FRIED, Perth & Kinross, Scotland, 30 Jul – 1 Aug: Seasick Steve has been announced as a headliner at this year’s Southern Fried. Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Holmes Brothers and Phantom Limb have also been added to the line-up. www.myspace.com/southernfriedfestival

TRAMLINES, Sheffield, 23-25 Jul: Echo And The Bunnymen, Mystery Jets, Simian Mobile Disco and Future Of The Left have all been confirmed to play at Tramlines this summer.
