Festival line-up update: Benicassim, T In The Park, Oxegen and more
By Aly Barchi | Published on Tuesday 23 April 2013
So it’s FLUU time, and we start today’s Festival Line-Up Update (because that’s what a FLUU is, after all) via new updates to the line-up for the Benicassim festival. Beady Eye, Johnny Marr, Skream, Telepathe and DJ Zane Lowe are amid the variable list of acts joining the Beni bill, highlights of which so far are The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Queens Of The Stone Age, Primal Scream, Jake Bugg, Kaiser Chiefs and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Next, and in placatory news for pop-lovers with tickets to this year’s T In The Park; the festival has revealed Ke$ha, Little Mix, Lawson, Gabrielle Aplin, Diana Vickers and ‘X-Factor’ grads James Arthur and Lucy Spraggan as the latest artists to infiltrate its Mumford/Rihanna/Killers-headlined billing. Brilliant.
It’s also all go over at Ireland’s Oxegen (Calvin Harris, Rizzle Kicks, Duke Dumont); the Yorkshire-based Beacons (Julia Holter, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Vondelpark, Mikal Cronin, Amateur Best); cheap-as-you-like Sheffield fest Tramlines (Lianne La Havas, New Young Pony Club, The Invisible, Friends) and many others besides, as you’ll no doubt note via this tasty feast of FLUUs you can eat and/or read:
