Electric Daisy Carnival Experience

The internationally famed and admired Electric Daisy Carnival is back in Milton Keynes again this year, which is nice if you like any of the following acts playing at its 2014 UK iteration: Avicii, Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, Steve Aoki, Paul Oakenfolk, A-Trak and/or Gorgon City. And I know you must like all of those. How could you not?

Electric Daisy’s parent firm Insomniac’s CEO Pasquale Rotella sums up the mood quite nicely with the following words: “Every time I think back to the last summer, I’m humbled that over 50,000 fans showed up to share their amazing energy and enthusiasm during our first international show, EDC in the UK. Because of their amazing support we’re bringing the festival back for its second year and, it’s going to be bigger and brighter than before. Milton Keynes Bowl is such a world renowned venue and we’re excited to transform it into something that’s never been seen before”.

Yeah, what she said. And now, to give Electric Daisy’s competitors at least a sporting chance, here’s a list of updates just made to festivals like Cheshire’s Farm Feast, the David Rodigan-featuring Festibelly, Iceland’s ever-brilliant Airwaves, Surrey vehicle Indietracks, North Wales’ main wave-chamber Wakestock, and, last yet not least (not even alphabetically), this year’s Biffy/Calvin/Arctics-headlined T In The Park…
