Festival Line-Up Update: Glastonbury, GuilFest, Roskilde and more

Glastonbury

Glastonbury has announced its initial line-up via an online poster this morning, filling out the scraps of information that we had already – like the fact that Arcade Fire would be one of the headliners. Kasabian seem to have joined them on that list (at last!), while the enigmatic Special Guests take the third slot (unless they’re taking the usual ‘special guests’ slot, but why would you put that on an incomplete line-up poster?).

Not on the official list is Idris Elba, who self-confirmed a DJ set at the festival yesterday. And also in Glastonbury news not made available by the aforementioned poster, the ‘experimental area’ of grass within the Glasto festival The Glade is back again in its traditional place in the woods this year, and more brimming with green and pleasant vibes than ever it was. This is something I’m sure you’ll appreciate if you are going to Glastonbury.

But if you’re not going to Glastonbury, don’t worry about it, and cast a glance instead over the updates to these fine alternatives…
