Artist News Festival Line-Up Update Gigs & Festivals
Festival line-up update: iTunes Festival, V 2014, Sound And Vision and more
By Aly Barchi | Published on Thursday 22 August 2013
As iTunes reveals highlights of its namesake festival will once again air via Channel 4 this year, so too has it revealed the September-long event’s final 30 Sep headliner will be ‘Roar’ hitmakeress Katy Perry. K-Pez will share her special night with Iggy Azalea and Icona Pop, all late-ish additions to the fest’s Gaga, NIN and 1D-featuring wider listings. And that’s that.
In V Festival news, patriotic ‘X-Factor’ boybots Union J have only gone and blabbed a DIY confirmation for 2014’s V via BANG! Showbiz, saying: “Don’t worry, we are signed up for next year so that’ll be good”. No, it won’t. Still, anyone that thinks it will can have a go at snatching advance tickets for V 2014, since a limited batch is now on sale.
That said and done, I’ll move this thing on to a glance at new artist reveals by prime Netherlands fest Incubate, Scottish pop-rock caper Loopallu, Norwich-wide AV happening Sound And Vision, and Donington Park dance-athon Zoo Project:
