Festival line-up update: Latitude, Southport Weekender, Lunar Fest and more

Damon Albarn is to play, solo, at this year’s Latitude Festival, in so doing promoting his first LP, ‘Everyday Robots’. In what, it turns out, will be his sole slot at a UK fest this year, Albarn barges his way onto a line-up including Two Door Cinema Club, Röyksopp and Robin, Haim, Anna Calvi and Billy Bragg.

Latitude’s thrilled organisational team say: “As a musician who constantly challenges conventional boundaries and norms with his creativity, Damon Albarn is a perfect fit for such an innovative festival and now audiences will be delighted to see him appear for his first ever festival performance as a solo artist at Latitude 2014”.

And with that, it’s time to lift the lid on FLUUs just made to Slovakia’s picturesque Pohoda fest, 2014’s sold-out Southport Weekender, and the super-indie Lunar Festival…
