Festival Line-Up Update: Longtitude, Kendal Calling, End Of The Road and more

End Of The Road

So, notable amid today’s festival additions is the initial lot of artists set to play Latitude’s Irish cross-parallel Longitude. And they are headliners Kraftwerk, Phoenix, and Vampire Weekend, plus Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foals, Hot Chip, Jake Bugg, Modest Mouse and many others still tba.

Like Longitude, Kendal Calling is at the ‘revealing its first artists’ stage, and has placed co-monarchs Basement Jaxx, The Charlatans, and Primal Scream atop its Mystery Jets, I Am Kloot, British Sea Power and Ash-featuring listings.

Quite excitingly at this year’s Belle And Sebastian, Sigur Rós and David Byrne & St Vincent-starring End Of The Road is a new live conscription featuring Warpaint, Dinosaur Jr and Cass McCombs. Oh yeah, and I’ve got a sizeable early expansion from Lancashire dance party Beatherder too, it having added the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Bokka Shade, Norman Jay, Standon Warriors and Mr Scruff.

Now cast thine eyes over this list of extra details on the above, and brand new information on Serbia’s Exit, Hebridian ceilidh Hebcelt, green and pleasant familial land Lawnfest, Cumbria-based rave Solfest, secret Somerset shindig Sunrise Celebration, Bill-Bailey-embracing love-in Wychwood, and the first ever London edition of Dingle’s best-kept secret fest Other Voices, free tickets for which are available only via ballot.
