Festival line-up update: Pitchfork Festival Paris, Recn, Unsound London and more

Having cancelled its Sao Paolo-based edition (owing, it said at the time, to Brazil’s financial instability) earlier this year, multi-national festivals plc Sonar is to spread itself over four continents in 2014; having released dates for events in Reykjavik (13-15 Feb), Tokyo (12-13 Apr), Mexico City (16-17 May) and Cape Town (16 Dec) in addition to its flagship Barcelona bash (12-14 Jun).
Meanwhile, have some enhancements to Pitchfork’s The Knife/Hot Chip/Disclosure/Deerhunter-starring Paris fete; the all-new London branch of Polish alt-fest Unsound; Upset The Rhythm’s superlatively-billed Yard Party and Bradford/Leeds’ nascent arts carnival Recon, are as here written:
