The full line up has been confirmed for the conference side of BIME, which takes place in Bilbao in Spain next week, putting the spotlight on the music business, and the intersection between music, tech, gaming and sync.

Former Arts Council boss and current Radio 3 chief Alan Davey, Lollapalooza Berlin’s Fruzsina Szep and Music Tech Fest’s Michaela Magas are amongst the latest additions to the conference line up.

Meanwhile CMU Business Editor Chris Cooke will lead a panel looking at the changing role of the record label, continuing a debate he began at The Great Escape earlier this year. This time Bella Union chief Simon Raymonde, lawyer and The Box Plus legal chief Stacey Mitsopulos, Christophe Cuarret of marketing agency BETC Life and Sharon Matheson from distribution firm INgrooves will all join the discussion.

Announcing that programme, BIME Director Christophe Cassan told reporters he was looking forward to “focussing on new ideas and ways of collaborating across music and tech, and how to facilitate cooperation between South American and European music professionals. I really look forward to meeting and learning from all these executives and visionaries from across the globe”.
