By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 20 March 2013
NME Editor Mike Williams yesterday announced the hiring of Greg Cochrane as the new editor of NME.com.
Currently a reporter for BBC Newsbeat, Cochrane previously worked at NME as the magazine’s Assistant Review Editor from 2006 to 2008, and in returning replaces Luke Lewis, who recently joined Buzzfeed’s new UK operation.
Williams tweeted the news yesterday, thus: “Amazing newsflash! I have hired a brilliant new editor for NME.com. Ladies and gents, please be upstanding for Greg Cochrane”.
