Guns N Roses to begin work on new album
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 12 November 2010
Guns N Roses guitarist DJ Ashba has revealed that the band are preparing to start work on their next album.
The band’s last long player, ‘Chinese Democracy’, spent thirteen years in production, of course. And if we use that as a gauge, we should be planning to be disappointed by the next one in about 2023. Though Ashba insists that the band won’t be quite a slow this time around.
He told Artisan News: “I’m excited to get this one rolling. We’ve been throwing around a bunch of ideas [and] Axl has a lot of good shit up his sleeve. It won’t take as long as ‘Chinese Democracy’, I promise”.
