Halliwell engaged after whirlwind romance

According to reports, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell recently got engaged to an Italian yacht tycoon, Fabrizio Politi, just weeks after meeting him.
The former pop star’s management agency 19 apparently said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi. As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season. There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement”.
The pair met in a nightclub in Florence early in December, and reports suggest that the ‘token’ was a diamond ring worth more than £200k.
