Wow, that was a big one last week, I’m glad I got all that off my chest. I’m feeling much better now, so I’ll balance that whopper with a little note this time, just to say…
1. Maybe see you at Glastonbury, for anyone that hasn’t seen Trash City, it really is a thing to behold and after sun goes down it is THE BEST place at the festival bar none. I’m in the Drag Strip Biker Bar at 3am Sat night/Sun morning. Come and have a sweaty dance.
2. Please get your advance tickets for Remix All-nighter, they’re only £5 and it will be a tenner on the night. And come early to see Punks Jump Up and Burn The Negative, who are both awesome and fully deserving of some big love. Ladytron are sounding great these days and Phil Hartnoll and Alex Metric are killin’ it at the moment.
3. Pet hate 21: It’s envelope, Russell, not Onvelope, it’s 2009, not 1528. We Anglicised that word off the French centuries ago.

6. EMF pulled! I can’t believe it, after all that. They confirmed for our SGP stage, then they decided, suckingly, that ‘we don’t have enough time – with work commitments – to practice and get our live show to the level we want, blah blah…’ Jesus. Since when did EMF give a shit about practice?! Come on boys, you were never Steely Dan, were you? You could have done it and pulling out that last minute is really lame.
7. Anyway, we’ve managed to get 808 State to come and DJ instead, which isn’t as good as a live show, but will still be a lot of fun. Boilersuits on, I hope.
8. From my last rant, you know how much I hate cold calls. The Directory Of Mobile Phone numbers goes live this week. All mobile phone numbers including those belonging to children will be open to cold calling. They do not give out your number to someone that calls but they will forward the call to your phone. Bastards. To remove your number go here. It’s very easy. I just did it and I’m a total fuckwit.
