Independent publisher Imagem Music has announced a new joint venture with West London club night Blue Flowers. This follows a recent label deal for the live music night with Island Records.

“I’ve known Chris [Pearson, Blue Flowers founder] for many years having worked together directly quite some time ago, and have always thought that there would be a next chapter”, says Imagem MD Kim Frankiewicz. “Blue Flowers has proven itself to be on the needle when it comes to being ahead of the curve so am delighted that he has found a partner in Imagem”.

Pearson adds: “I first met Kim way back at the start of my music career when I was an A&R at Universal Publishing – from the start of our working relationship I always really appreciated the belief she had in Blue Flowers. I’ve been a huge admirer of everything Kim’s doing at Imagem, so I didn’t think twice when presented with this opportunity. I’m very excited to get going and build a successful partnership”.

Through the deal, Imagem will provide publishing administration and creative services to Blue Flowers globally.
