Is Boyle trying to silence siblings with legal action?
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 11 May 2010
According to the Sunday Express, Susan Boyle has instructed her lawyers to sue her two brothers, John and Gerry, after they told reporters that they were concerned about their sister’s well-being, and accused the people managing the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ warbler of “controlling” her and keeping “her family away”.
The tabloid says Boyle’s lawyers might try to silence the singer’s siblings with a breach of privacy action though, while I’m no expert on privacy laws, especially if this action had to be taken north of the border, I’m pretty sure you can’t use privacy laws to stop people from expressing concern.
