Jacko residency up to thirty nights

By | Published on Thursday 12 March 2009

As expected, promoters of the upcoming Michael Jackson O2 residency yesterday announced a whole stack of extra performances due to the huge number of people registering for tickets (enough to cause the ticket registration website to wobble a few times).

Twenty more dates have been added to the original ten gigs announced, meaning Jacko will play a record breaking thirty nights at London’s big dome. It seems anyone who doubted Jacko’s ability to shift tickets was wrong.

Those who doubt his ability to get through a ten night residency, let alone a thirty night run, will, obviously, have to wait to see if their prediction is right.

Despite the widely known plan to run the Jacko O2 shows for as long a ticket sales demand, therefore presumably meaning anyone who wants to get in should get in, tickets for the residency are already being advertised for resale on auction sites like eBay at a considerable mark up.
