Jess Glynne’s ‘Take Me Home’ is the official Children In Need single for 2015

This year’s official Children In Need single is by Jess Glynne. It’s called ‘Take Me Home’. You may already recognise it from her debut album, ‘I Cry When I Laugh’.
Of the track and its video, Glynne says: “This is a song about the need to have someone who cares when you are at your most vulnerable. It’s an emotional song for me and I have to admit it brings me to tears when I sing it live, likewise when I made the video with Declan [Whitebloom]. I hope it makes people realise that they should reach out to others at a time of need and I’m so excited for it to be part of BBC Children In Need. It’s such a special cause”.
This news provides an opportunity to tell you that Glynne will headline The Roundhouse in London tonight. Oh, and that Children In Need takes place this year on 13 Nov. But mainly the Roundhouse thing.
