Job ad: Edinburgh International Festival – Media Officer, Contemporary/Popular Music (Edinburgh)

The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Media Officer to join the marketing and communications team. We want you to help us deliver this unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, which brings some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world.
The Media Officer will have good connections with music journalists and have a deep understanding of popular music – from electronic to Scottish folk music. They will be the primary point of contact for print, broadcast and online media on the gigs programme and the festival overall. They will work closely with the Media Manager and the Head of Communications to maintain a busy and efficient media office both in the lead up to and during the Festival in August.  
This role offers home working until July, leading up to the Festival’s August 2021 launch.
