Erased Tapes is an independent record label and publishing company representing an internationally acclaimed roster of contemporary artists including Nils Frahm, Kiasmos, Rival Consoles, Hatis Noit, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Penguin Cafe, Michael Price, Anne Müller, Peter Broderick, Ben Lukas Boysen among others.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly organised digital creative to develop engaging content for strategic social media campaigns around our artist releases, tours and label events across all platforms. Working 2-3 days per week, the chosen candidate will work closely with our PR & Marketing Manager, reporting to them and the Company Director to assist with PR campaigns, digital marketing and label events. We are looking for a highly thoughtful, versatile, reliable and hardworking individual with experience in building and maintaining music & art communities.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Creation of digital content utilising all media (audio and visual)
• Daily management of social media channels, playlists, website
• Draft regular and strategic social media plans and schedules
• Draft and edit promotional assets (i.e. newsletters, press releases)
• Document and assist with label activities and events (i.e. showcases, workshops, merch sales, label markets)
• Maintenance of mailing lists and databases (i.e. tour dates, press contacts)
• Assist both the PR & Marketing Manager and Company Director with day-to-day activities, general administration and scheduling

Desired experience and skills

• A passion for music and knowledge of the Erased Tapes roster and catalogue
• A keen interest in social media platforms and experience or training in social media marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong sense of organisation and acute attention to detail
• Design, photography and video creation and editing experience (i.e. Final Cut, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Ability to develop engaging short-form visual content, animated artwork and dynamic media assets
• Creative writing and editing experience (i.e. news, blogs, reviews, press releases, biographies and website copy)
• Ability to work autonomously, be proactive and meet tight deadlines
• Previous experience at a recording, publishing or music & arts-related company
• Interest in and knowledge of popular and underground cultural, and a keen understanding of the current digital landscape and music communities offline
• Proficiency with Mac environment and software is essential
