Erased Tapes Records is a London-based independent label that was founded in 2007, representing an internationally acclaimed roster of contemporary composers and electronic artists including Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Bell Orchestre, Hatis Noit, Penguin Cafe, Kiasmos, Qasim Naqvi, Ben Lukas Boysen and Peter Broderick.

We are currently seeking a highly organised Production Assistant to support the company Director and Production Manager in their regular administrative duties. The chosen candidate will assist with the production and distribution of Erased Tapes products (digital and physical), including vinyl records, CDs, and label merchandise. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to learn about music manufacturing, communicating with our international network of distributors, designers and warehouse managers to help ensure efficient distribution and shipping for our releases. 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Stock control and product order administration
• Create info sheets and communicate with our international distribution partners
• Liaise with our warehouse team, designers and suppliers 
• Maintain online store and product databases 
• Assist with customer service and general inquiries 
• Create metadata, download codes, and ensure releases are registered with relevant rights societies
• Liaise with global PR team, provide promotional assets, archive press clippings and reports
• Order and track merchandise shipments for artists/tours
• Handling general post and freight tasks
• Assist with label market sales and special events 

Required experience and skills

• A keen sense of organisation and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A passion for music, both classical and contemporary


Mac OSX, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) 


20 hours per week
London (E9) / Remote
Salary: DOE

Desired experience and skills

• Prior work in music and/or knowledge of music retail
• Experience with Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator
