Job ad: Help Musicians – Event Manager (London)

We are an independent charity which aims to make a meaningful difference to the lives of musicians, offering an integrated programme combining Health and Welfare support and Creative and professional development. As the charity heads towards its centenary in 2021, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London in our newly-created role of Event Manager. Securing and delivering key events for Help Musicians, you will also be responsible for identifying new partners to collaborate with on commercial events, managing these relationships through curation, negotiation, artistic delivery to provide a truly fantastic event experience.

Engaging and managing all stakeholder expectations and working collaboratively with all our teams, will be vital to the success of this role. With the support of the Head of Events, you will also be responsible for the line management and development of two Event Officers. 

Your experience of delivering a cost-efficient event process and developing budgets and monthly financial reports is essential. A working knowledge of the music industry with good contacts in the sector will also be required.

The Event Manager post is a new position with the charity and will report to the Head of Events.
