We are looking for an experienced music and reviews editor to manage and develop our expanding online content.

Duties and responsibilities

• Recruiting and managing a team of music reviewers
• Selecting music releases for review
• Writing reviews, features and other content where necessary
• Compiling and sending our weekly review email newsletters
• Sourcing and writing news articles
• Commissioning, editing and writing features
• Sourcing audio and video content
• Collaborating with our marketing team to create ideas and identify opportunities
• Working with our artist and label liaison manager to build and develop relationships
• Expanding Juno’s audience by creating compelling content and via SEO and social media marketing

The suitable candidate will

• Be an experienced, open-minded music writer
• Have deep knowledge of dance/electronic music and other genres
• Have experience of commissioning and sub-editing
• Be well connected with label and artist contacts
• Have good knowledge of WordPress
• Have working knowledge of social media marketing and SEO
• Be able to cope under pressure and work to deadlines
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills
• Be a team player who enjoys working with others and can motivate and inspire

Due to the current situation, the role could initially be undertaken remotely, but will usually be based on-site in our Camden office.
