What you’ll be doing

The Marketing Co-ordinator will be part of the [PIAS] Recordings team based in London, a central marketing and repertoire co-ordination hub for all directly signed artists across the group.

The Marketing Co-ordinator will assist the [PIAS] Recordings team with marketing and promotion functions to ensure we provide the best possible campaigns on all our signed repertoire.

Key responsibilities

• To work closely with the Recordings Team to create an artist friendly and creative environment.
• Assist in compiling campaign updates for Marketing Managers as required.
• Attend shows and represent the label to the wider industry.
• Ordering stock for the label, internal and external promo teams and assisting the tour stock ordering process between artist/managers and distribution partners such as Cinram etc.
• Managing department diary of gig lists along with guest list/tickets requests including liaising with promoters to buy/ensure guest list/tickets are sorted promptly for all shows where tickets are required.
• Frequently making travel arrangements on behalf of our artists and their management
• Handling of awards entries on behalf of the label – these include: AIM Awards, Mercury Music Prize, Music Week Awards, Music Video Awards
• On occasion, pitching of releases for Spotify playlists, Apple playlists/profile and others on behalf of project managers
• Responsible for label social’s (retweeting/reposting where relevant) and writing and mailing label newsletter in collaboration with marketing managers and digital team, usually once a month.
• Assist with administration/processing of PO’s.
• Delivery, upload and administration of promotional video’s internally and externally with the likes of services such as Promostream
• Upload and delivery of releases to Promo Jukebox (watermarked promos)

Skills and experience

• Experience of working in a similar role within the music industry would be ideal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Able to prioritise within a multitasking environment
• Great communication skills – verbal and written
• Detail orientated and a can-do approach to all tasks
• Strong Administration skills is a must
• Excellent organizational skills          
• Proactive, self-motivated
• Detail orientated
