Job ad: Proper Music Distribution – Digital Distribution Co-Ordinator (Primarily Remote)

We’re looking for a driven music lover to help facilitate the growth of our digital department and assist our roster of independent labels and artists in getting the best out of their releases.

As Digital Distribution Co-Ordinator, you’ll play integral part in maintaining and promoting Proper’s growing catalogue. Working alongside the Digital Manager, label management and our labels, you’ll assist with all elements of the distribution of digital releases.


• Day to day management of digital release content submissions and enquiries
• Maintaining release schedules and communicating with labels, artists and partners to ensure timely deliveries
• Quality checking and delivery of releases to DSPs
• Coordinate promotional materials for new releases
• Assist with compiling pitch documents and submitting promo forms
• Process content updates, takedowns and rights changes across DSPs
• Update and compile in-house playlists
• Collate editorial coverage across DSPs for labels and artists
• Create promotional links for new releases


• 1-2 experience within the music industry preferred
• Good understanding of the digital music landscape and platforms
• Strong understanding of Excel, Google docs, YouTube and social platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work accurately to strict deadlines
• Photoshop and basic video skills desirable
• Experience with DSP pitch forms desired
