The Columbo Group is looking for a Logistics & Hospitality Manager to work across our Jazz Cafe, Phonox & Metropolis venues.

Solely responsible for the management of all artist travel and accommodation requirements, as well as assisting our bookers with admin-based tasks, it is essential that this person is extremely well organised with a sharp attention to detail.

Based in our office above Jazz Cafe in Camden, you’ll be joining a team of creative and passionate people who work across The Columbo Group’s eight venues and multiple festivals.

• Organising all hotels, travel, ground transport, certificates of sponsorship, riders and dinners for artists we book to play at Phonox, Jazz Cafe and Metropolis
• Sending out the show advances for all club shows at the above venues and finalising set times, show reps and support DJs before sending out
• Arranging riders, guest list and any other requests that artists have relating to their event. Liaising outside of office hours, when required
• It’s essential you have a passion for nightlife and club culture as you will be required to rep 2/3 weekend shows per month – looking after artists, making sure the shows run smoothly, reporting back to the team each time so we can continue to improve our venues. You will be in charge of the ‘rep rota’ for all club shows and ensuring
colleagues are fulfilling their monthly reps
• Liaising closely with the Head Bookers and Technical Manager to ensure all tech riders are received and approved well in advance. For more complicated setups making sure artist travel gets them into London for earlier soundchecks
• Working closely with hotels in the area to ensure we are receiving the best possible deals. Constantly looking for ways to reduce costs relating to hotels and travel
• The job requires a good level of negotiating and tact & diplomacy skills, especially when dealing with high profile artists to ensure we meet their requirements whilst also sticking to venue budgets
• Keeping up to date on knowledge of visas and certificates of sponsorship, especially considering the effects of Brexit
• General office maintenance. Ordering office supplies and equipment, managing the cleaners and the general up-keep of the office
• Assisting with the organisation of staff socials

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Must be a 10/10 in organisation and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
