Tru Thoughts is looking to hire a Digital & Marketing Co-ordinator to work in-house at our office in Brighton.

The candidate should be confident and organized, with a demonstrable passion for the label’s music (and a love of being by the sea). This role will consist of working alongside Project Managers and the Press Department to plan and execute successful campaigns; with a particular focus on digital marketing, digital distribution, branding and content creation. 

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Tru Thoughts is a thriving independent label with current and previous acts including Quantic, Alice Russell, Hot 8 Brass Band, Moonchild, Rodney P, Bonobo and Hidden Orchestra.


• Working with the rest of the marketing team to create European wide plans
• Liaising with digital and promo teams to create and implement marketing plans.
• Setting up digital advertising across main digital ad platforms.
• Using stats and analysis to help shape advertising decisions.
• Helping to coordinate assets across a campaign including music videos, remixes, live sessions, photoshoots, digital assets.
• Delivery of audio and metadata to digital distributors. 
• Creation of digital label copy.
• Liaising with our digital teams and retailers.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to demonstrate independent thought and action.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effectively manage multiple projects.
• Previous experience in the music industry industry preferred.
