These days it’s hard to remember a time when Justin Bieber wasn’t like some kind of messianic deity, but I can assure you that he used to be a right little shit. I feel bad using such words about the world’s greatest guy, but it’s true. Even he admits that.
In an interview with Seventeen magazine, the singer says: “I was rebelling a little bit. I was getting cockier and cockier. I didn’t have people to check me. I looked back and I was disappointed in myself. You have to own up to the mistakes. You have to say, ‘I’m sorry if I’ve let you down’. I always want to be honest and let people know that those mistakes aren’t who I am. Who I am is someone who really cares about people”.
What a guy. What a super great guy. I wish we could all be like Justin.
