Kaiser Chiefs are not devastated, okay?

Kaiser Chiefs have responded to press reports that they are “devastated” about the chart performance of latest album ‘Off With Their Heads’, and are planning an indefinite hiatus following their upcoming live dates.
In a message to fans the band wrote: “Oh woe is us…NOT the case, what do we have to be devastated about? We’re halfway though our most enjoyable & biggest tour of Europe, and couldn’t be happier with the way it’s going”.
On the recently released album, they added: “It’s sold over half a million albums and is still going, where’s the doom and gloom in that? Not here. We thought we owed it to our fans to flag this one up, don’t believe all you read!”
