Kelis has said that her reputation for being a bit intimidating is unjustified, as she only intimidates people who are “worth intimidating”. The singer told Look Magazine: “People don’t know me. I don’t know whether that’s the same as being misjudged, because why should they know me? I don’t expect anything from strangers – I can’t expect them to know that I’m a great mother or sister. I try to be a great mother, I don’t know if I always succeed. But I try to do the best job I can in everything”.
