Kendal Calling looking for arty types
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 20 April 2010
Feeling arty this morning? Fancy seeing your artistic efforts displayed at Lake District music fest Kendal Calling? Well, here’s your chance.
Past artworks displayed at the festival apparently include: Uncle Monty’s living room from ‘Withnail & I’ recreated for festival goers to sit back and recline in; a set of white furniture painted by the festival goers throughout the event; a giant UV canopy; a water monster and scrap metal robots.
If you would like to put your arty endeavours forward for the fest, you have until 10 May to pitch your ideas. An application form is at this URL: www.wearecalling.com/artform.doc.
