Lennon killer to stay in jail
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 8 September 2010
No surprise really, but John Lennon’s killer Mark Chapman has again been denied parole, this was his sixth time of asking. Chapman has been eligible for parole since 2000 and has been before a parole panel approximately every two years. He will have another chance to request freedom in 2012. Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono, of course, has always remained opposed to Chapman being released.
