Liam Gallagher spelling test sparks Oasis reunion rumours
By Andy Malt | Published on Friday 25 April 2014
Liam Gallagher has sparked rumours that Oasis are set to reform, after he tweeted the band’s name last night. That really is all it takes.
Actually, he did put a little bit of effort into it.
“O”, he tweeted at exactly 6.30pm.
Then, over the course of two and a half hours, he followed this up with “A”, “S”, “I”, and another “S”.
Just in case anyone was struggling, he added “OASIS” just after 9pm.
But what could it mean? Could it mean that Oasis are getting back together and will fill the last, still to be announced headline slot at this year’s Glastonbury? Yes, that’s definitely exactly what it means. Or it could just have been Liam sending out some random tweets to remind everyone that he wasn’t always in Beady Eye.
I’m not sure the world could cope with Oasis and Libertines reunions in the same summer.
