Little Mix cover Word Up for BBC Sport Relief

Little Mix will release their spin on Cameo’s 1986 hit ‘Word Up’ as this year’s official BBC Sport Relief single, following in the trainer-prints of McFly, Robbie Williams, JLS and Rachel Stevens. It’ll be released 16 Mar, ahead of Sport Relief weekend, which takes place between 21-23 Mar.
Zayn Malik-affianced Little Mixette Perrie Edwards, seen here in Liberia with the band, researching where all the cash Sport Relief raises is spent (other than that set aside to invest in bombs of course), says: “We’ve all seen people push themselves and do incredible things for Sport Relief so it’s a dream come true to be releasing the official single this year. We can’t wait for you all to hear it!”
