Live Nation acquires Nous Productions from Warner

Live Nation has acquired French promoter Nous Productions from Warner Music, it has been confirmed.
Though that isn’t the French wing of the mini-major bailing on its live music ambitions entirely. “Warner Music France will concentrate on developing its concert business via its subsidiary Décibels Productions, specialising in the production of local artists”, said the label.
A WMG spokesperson told IQ that the decision to sell Nous was “a local decision taken by Warner Music France and has no effect on WMG activity in other territories”.
Nous will officially become part of Live Nation France on 1 Oct.
