LL Cool J fights burglar
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 23 August 2012
When LL Cool J caught a burglar in his kitchen at 1am on Wednesday morning, did he run away? No. Did he scream for help? No. Did he beg the intruder to take whatever he wanted and spare his life? No. LL Cool J beat the man to the floor and then held him there until police arrived. That’s what LL Cool J did.
Los Angeles police spokesman Richard French told Reuters that there had been “a brief physical confrontation” between the 44 year old rapper and a 58 year old homeless man in his house, and that what injuries, if any, had been sustained on either side was not clear. French did confirm that the man would be charged with burglary though.
The rapper’s spokesman, Rhett Usry said in a statement: “LL Cool J, and his family, are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern. As a father, husband and citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter”.
