Lou Reed hospitalised with dehydration

Lou Reed was admitted to hospital over the weekend with dehydration. The 71 year old, who declared himself a “triumph of modern medicine” earlier this year following a liver transplant, received emergency treatment at a facility in Long Island on Sunday.
Reed made his first post-op PA at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity in late June, saying this at the time: “How could time go that quickly? The other day, I was nineteen. I could fall down and get back up. Now if I fall down you are talking about nine months of physical therapy”.
