Lykke Li returns with Swedish supergroup Liv

Lykke Li’s back, and she’s brought some friends. In fact, she’s formed a whole supergroup, called Liv, with Andrew Wyatt from Miike Snow, Peter Bjorn And John’s Bjorn Yttling, Pontus Winnberg of Bloodshy & Avant (and also Miike Snow), and Kanye West producer Jeff Bhasker.
“I’m trying to shut down the EDM scene”, Li told Pitchfork recently, discussing the new project. “We all have babies, we bring the babies. We only do things that we enjoy. It’s all about art, and music, and family, and love. Nothing else”.
The video for first single, ‘Wings Of Love’, was released yesterday, the directorial debut of Li herself.
