Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead in AMA noms

So, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have the most nominations in this year’s American Music Awards, the US industry’s big public-voted awards event.
The hip hop duo have six nominations in the AMA shortlists, ahead of Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake who are each up for five prizes. Rihanna, Florida Georgia Line and Robin Thicke each get four noms.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are up for the flagship Artist Of The Year category, against Swift, Timberlake, Rihanna and Bruno Mars, while the other shortlists they appear on include Single Of The Year, New Artist Of The Year, Favourite Pop/Rock Group, Favourite Rap/Hip Hop Artist and Favourite Rap/Hip Hop Album.
