As she hinted last week via this cringey misspelling of his name, Madonna has indeed been ‘in the lab’ with sweet DJ Avicii.
The word online is that the two are working on some kind of special extra to go on the re-release of Avicii’s 2013 smash ‘True’, though of course it’s also very feasible that part of the collaboration will find its way onto a Madonna LP. I mean, anything’s possible in the world of pop, isn’t it? And apparently, said Madonna via Instagram, she and Avicii created “so many great songs”, so that leaves plenty to share and share alike.

Or so producer Jesse Shatkin has said via MuuMuuse, and apparently he was there at the time, and pitched in to co-write a “strong, powerful and from the heart” ballad for Cole.
And finally, a third bit of collaborations gossip, as super-duper ‘SuperLove’ singer Charli XCX says, explicitly, that her TBA new LP will feature Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij. Here she is, chilling at SXSW, and breaking the news in a clip:
