Marco Barbieri has returned to metal label Century Media to take up the position of President. Barbieri previously led the company from 1995 to 2007, before leaving to run his family’s property business, as well as managing artists.
Announcing the news, Century Media co-founder Robert Kampf said: “I am extremely happy to welcome Marco Barbieri back to being president of Century Media. Marco is a passionate, music driven, creative leader who will catapult Century Media to new heights in rock and metal”.
Barbieri added: “I am very happy to return to Century Media. Some of my best memories are while working here and I look forward to collaborating with staff and artists to write the next illustrious chapter”.
The new appointment comes shortly after the death of the label’s other co-founder Oliver Withöft, aged 49.
