Marilyn Manson to press charges over Denny’s punch
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 9 April 2015
Marilyn Manson has said that he will press charges against a man who allegedly hit him in the face at a branch of Denny’s in Alberta, Canada at the weekend.
Early reports claimed that Manson got into an argument with a group of people in the restaurant in the early hours of Sunday morning. It was claimed that the punch was thrown by a man in the group, after Manson called his girlfriend a “bitch”.
The singer’s manager told TMZ that this was not the case, claiming that two girls had approached Manson and asked for a photograph, for which he politely obliged. Then, out of nowhere, the man appeared, punched him, and elbowed his make-up artist in the face too.
Both are apparently pressing charges over the incident.
