Meat Loaf cancels Nottingham show due to illness
By Chris Cooke | Published on Monday 15 April 2013
Meat Loaf had to cancel a show in Nottingham yesterday an hour before it was due to start because of illness.
The singer was previously taken ill during a show in 2011, and last year announced that the current ‘Last At Bat’ tour would be his last, though the statement put out before last night’s concert said that several band members had actually been taken ill this time, suggesting a virus was doing the rounds, rather than there being any specific health concerns related to the singer specifically.
The Nottingham show will be reschedule for 20 May, and all tickets for this weekend’s concert will be valid then.
