The nominations for this year’s MOBO Awards have been announced, with Tinie Tempah leading the pack, which is good going for someone who’s only released two singles thus far. He’s up for Best Newcomer, Best UK Act, Best Video and Best Song. N-Dubz follow close behind with three nominations.

Announcing the nominations, MOBO head Kanya King said: “I am very proud of the level of talent in the UK today and extremely pleased with the dominance of MOBO music artists in the charts both here and in the US, what a massive change compared to when we started fifteen years ago”.
