Mogwai to headline Field Day
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 2 February 2009
So, over the last week or so I’ve been pawing over the various exciting festival line-ups that have been announced, wondering if I can bring myself to sit in a cold, muddy field again.
Then someone announces a great line-up right on my doorstep. Brilliant. No cold nights in a tent for me, thanks. I’m going to Field Day.
Headlining this year’s event, which takes place in Victoria Park in Hackney on 1 Aug, will be Mogwai. They will be joined by Four Tet, former Arab Strap man Malcolm Middleton, James Yorkston, Apes & Androids, Errors and Skream, with more to be announced over the coming months. I can’t wait.
Tickets are available now and cost almost nothing. Go to www.fielddayfestivals.com for more info.
