Muse take MTV’s Rock AM Ring coverage off the air

Muse reportedly took MTV’s coverage of Germany’s Rock AM Ring festival off the air this weekend because a very large prop they are using in their festival sets – a giant UFO – blocked the TV network’s transmission signal from the event.
According to the NME, the outage stopped MTV from airing coverage of Slayer’s set at the festival. Muse and their UFO are due to play Glastonbury later this month. BBC tech types might want to find out more before deciding where to position their vans this year.
