New opening date for DHP’s Oslo
By Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 8 January 2014
The new East London venue from DHP Family, Oslo in Hackney, will now open on 17 Jan, original plans to open back in November having been put on hold after a nearby building started falling over. The new space will stage both gigs and club nights, as well as operating as a bar and restaurant.
DHP MD George Akins told CMU: “It’s great to be making an impact in East London. I’m looking forward to introducing Oslo as a place where good music, fantastic food and inventive drink menus come together to provide a great culinary, social and cultural experience”.
He added: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to add something fantastic to the already amazing Hackney and East London music, food and nightlife mix. And, of course, it’s pleasing to reflect a bit of my Norwegian roots in the Oslo name and offering!”
