New Order to “keep a presence” via new EP series, maybe
By Aly Barchi | Published on Thursday 18 April 2013
New Order may release a set of EPs, they say, to “keep a presence” while they’re off playing live shows. They may (that’s ‘may’, this isn’t definite yet) afterwards compile said EPs into an LP, and release that, which is a nice idea.
This is what Bernard Sumner has said to Billboard: “I think New Order had been guilty of going away a lot and we disappear from the face of the Earth then come back a few years later with an album. I don’t think we want to do that this time… What we want to do is keep a presence and just go away for a bit”.
