New suit brought in Barker/DJ AM crash case
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 10 December 2008
The wife of Travis Barker’s late assistant Chris Baker has become the latest person to sue over the South Carolina Lear Jet crash that claimed four lives, and left Barker and fellow passenger DJ AM injured.
Otilia Villar Baker is suing several aviation companies as well as the estates of the two pilots who died in the crash, alleging negligence and wrongful death.
Both Baker and her son are named in the suit, which seeks damages for the pain and anguish suffered by Baker prior to his death, loss of earnings, companionship and the repayment of funeral and other costs.
